  • "We spent a wonderful week at La Prunetina. There's plenty of space for kids to play outside and also enough to keep them entertained indoors. For the adults you dont need to go beyond the terrace and the amazing view. Loved watching the sunset with a glass of wine and the fire flies were good fun to watch after it got dark. We did a couple of day trips, including catching the train to Florence, which was easy to do. The lake is definitely worth a visit on a hot day and dinner with Rafaelle is a must. Shannon and Simone were very helpful and easy to deal with."

  • "Top equipped, idyllic house with huge garden. Ideal stay for people seeking absolute tranquility and fantastic sunsets. The house leaves nothing to be desired in terms of furnishings and amenities! Of course, a car is a must, just to take trips to the fantastic landscape of Tuscany. Borgo San Lorenzo has great supermarkets where you can really get it all. Shannon was very eager and helpful if we had any questions and, for example, reserved a table at a restaurant she recommended! The decor of the house was very loving and stylish, everything very clean and well maintained! Fantastic garden, which we were able to enjoy and cherish! We can only fully recommend the house and would come back any time…"

  • "We had a fantastic stay in Tuscany. The house is located very privately and has a huge garden with lots of space to play. One of the greatest features is the astonishing view you can enjoy from the lovely patio. There are four bedrooms with comfortable beds, two spacious bathrooms and a kitchen where you find everything you need. Shannon was always available and tried to help us when we had questions. We definitely can recommend this amazing place"

  • "A beautiful home with a great garden and an overwhelming view. From the dining area under the bright pergola, you have a wide view over the large grounds and the adjacent mountains of the Mugello. Here we have taken almost every one of our meals. The large garden offers shaded moorings under trees, in hammocks, on upholstered lounging areas at the house. The equipment was above average. The house is traditionally renovated and furnished with attention to detail and at the same time modernly renovated and furnished. It is located directly on a long-distance hiking trail. Be sure to go for a walk. Shannon is a very nice and attentive host, she had prepared our arrival well and very thoughtfully. Our family was alone in the house and therefore completely undisturbed. We really appreciated the stay! Absolute referral."

  • "This home is everything you could want in the Tuscan hills! The home was everything you see in the listing and better in person. 4 bedrooms with lots of space, closets, 2 full bathrooms that were clean and big. Horses on the property that you see everyday, amazing sunsets, just so perfect. We had the private chef come In on our first night- this was one of our BEST MEALS during our 2 weeks In Italy. It was a 5 course meal, with a bottle of wine with each course- all for 45 euro a person. It was OUTSTANDING! We were given 2 menus to choose from. We did this our first night in Tuscany so we didn’t have to think about dinner and it was the perfect plan. This house is very remote...make sure you stop at the store on your way in. The road to the house is winding, narrow, bumpy, a little scary the first time especially. You need a car in this location, and a confident driver! But the location was very central to so much - we used the train to go into Florence, we did a winery touring day- use Todd at Tuscan trails- he was fantastic. We also made the trip to bologna to see the car factories, and of course we went to Mugello! We ended our 2 week vacation here, and it was a perfect way to finish up our trip after Rome, Positano and Venice. Shannon is a fantastic host. Even though we didn’t get to meet her, she was very responsive through our planning. And even made dinner reservations for us in advance. If you are looking for the truly remote Tuscany experience - this house is amazing and worth every penny."
